Hey ,
just to be sure, the Chart also applies to other scales than ionian right?
For Example Aeolian scales and so on…

i was wondering why there is no Arrow from the vii chord to I. It is also possible to go from vii instead of V back to I , right?

The chart covers the major and minor scales, so it isn’t really a modal chart. You could try to superimpose modal scales but it may not work out exactly as you plan.

That is true about vii, but the arrows show not just what is possible, but what is the most common. It is actually not that common to go from vii to I. More often than not, it will sound better as an inversion of V moving to I.
