Merry Christmas!

December 25, 2012 By Jon Brantingham 3 Comments

Enjoy this little ditty. I arranged this back in college, and I always wanted to take it caroling. I once went caroling using a caroling book from the high school band. Needless to say, the arrangements were not very good. Here is my take on an old classic.

Sleigh Ride

Arranged by Jon Brantingham for Trumpet, Clarinet, Trombone and Tuba.

Very Nice. Perhaps some doubling of the lead instruments would bring out the melody more. I am aware of the Tuba in the base even more than the melody.

Thanks. Probably has more to do with the way sibelius plays the piece back than it would had it been real instruments. Besides, who doesn’t like a little more tuba in their life, every now and then. 🙂
